Three shade families complement specific parts of the face:
"Colour sheen" shades illuminate cheekbones, forehead and chin. Shade #2 illuminates fair complexions, and shade #3 illuminates beige complexions.
"Colour balance" shades give skin perfect tonality. Shade #1 illuminates fair skin tones with a cool light, and helps to refresh dull or yellow complexions. Shade #4 gives beige complexions a warm light, and helps to minimize redness.
"Colour booster" shades enhance complexion and make a natural tan more uniform. Shade #7 enhances fair complexions; shade #5 enhances medium complexions; shade #8 enhances medium to light caramel complexions; shade #6 enhances tawny complexions.
